چکیده

The south-east of the kingdom Morocco, including Tinejdad region at south-east, has a remarkable earthen architecture. It is built by combining two techniques, that rammed earth and adobe. This work carried out with aim preserving developing this ancestral know-how. study initially characterization soil used for construction in region; grain size plasticity showed it was not very clayey moderately plastic (clayey sand) suitable construction. also concerned fibers traditionally used, namely wheat straw barley straw. Secondly, focuses on influence different fibers, those mentioned above as well sawdust crushing mechanical characteristics adobe relation to its compressive strength bending strength. Several fiber mass ratios were studied, an improvement observed fibers. have provided great ductility decrease modulus elasticity. optimal ratio 2% studied.
